He suffered a serious crash in the middle of the 2024 season during the Race Around Małopolska and sustained severe injuries. Following the fall he was forced to miss the rest of the season and undergo a lengthy rehabilitation before gradually returning to racing. A hard worker and loyal team rider, he faces his first national championship of the year this Saturday for ATT — the cyclo-cross event on his home course in Ostrava.
